The chat room uses Macromedia Flash Player ®, so it helps if you have the most recent version installed.  You can install or upgrade by visiting Macromedia's web site.  It is also advised that you are using the most recent version of your chosen browser.  This chat has not been tested on every browser, but I've gotten it to work on MSIE 6.0, Firefox 1.0.2, and Netscape 8.0 with Windows XP Home and Windows 98SE.

If you ever have a problem with the chat room, please let me know.  If you give me an extremely detailed explanation of what is happening, I will do everything I can to take care of the problem. I can be reached via email by using the feedback form (I don't like to give out my email here...I HATE SPAM!). 

First things first!  The Club Sissy chat room doesn't believe in censorship or keeping people from talking about whatever is on their mind.  But there ARE 7 pretty simple rules.

#1) Nothing illegal - No children, no bestiality, and no other discussions of illegal activities.  If you're caught, you WILL be banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.

#2) Respect the Dom/mes - Even if you aren't "into" the BDSM scene, I expect you to be respectful of the dominant men and women in the room.  In particular, this means NO PRIVATE MESSAGES without prior approval in the room.  I want this to be a fun place for everybody who is interested in the sissy lifestyle.  If Dom/mes enter the room and are harassed, they will not return.  If I hear of people who are harassing them, you will be removed/banned.

#3) Respect the subs - Rule #2 applies to the subs too.  If they don't want to play, they don't HAVE to play.  Different people have different motivations for entering the chat.  Some want cyber, some just want a fun chat.  Both are equally valuable, and should be equally accepted.

#4) Pro Dom/mes are WELCOME! - Just because somebody chooses to be a Dom/me professionally, doesn't mean that they aren't worthy of respect.  They are people too, and they are welcome at Club Sissy.  You don't have to obey them, and you're welcome to put them on ignore, but insulting or otherwise being rude to them WILL get you banned.

#5) No Means No - If somebody has their status set to "No PM Please", you are expected to respect their wishes and NOT send them a PM/IM. Ignoring their request is grounds for being banned!

#6) No spamming - If you want to post a link to a site you enjoy - or even your own site - go ahead.  Just don't do it over and over, insult Club Sissy (to make yours look better), and generally annoy people with it.  I think we all know what spamming is, and it will not be tolerated.

#7) Play Nice! - Please try to treat everybody in the room with the same level of respect and courtesy that you would want extended to you.  Mean remarks, shouting, cussing, and other similar behaviors are not necessary and will not be permitted in the Club Sissy chat room.  Again...do so...and you will be removed/banned.

Chatting In Room - To type in the room, just go to the box at the bottom, type your message, and press the "Enter" key (or click on "Send").  It will take 1-3 seconds for the message to appear.  This is normal, and helps to reduce the server load, bandwidth, and subsequent costs for this free resource.

Private Message / Invite / Share File / Ignore / Profile - To use any of these features, left click on a name from the list on the right of the chat window and choose the appropriate option.  These options allow you to chat one-on-one, invite chatters to another room, send a file to another user, ignore an obnoxious user, and view a chatter's profile/personal ad with more information about that user.

1) Status - Select from this drop down to put a status next to your name in the list of chatters.  Options include the standards (Here, Busy, Away, BRB), plus some custom options for Club Sissy (sissy, Dom Male, Dom Female, etc). 

2) Options - A set of features including: Themes, Sounds, Effects, Text, and About.  Personalize your experience at Club Sissy by choosing how things look and feel on your end.  Changes do not effect other users.  See more details below.

3) Font Color - Choose your font color.  Sissies should be pretty in pink.  All others may choose any color they wish.

4) Save Log - Save a log of the chat you're in.  Click the button, then choose "File/Save" from the menu at the top of the page.  Or...just copy and paste into your favorite text editor.

5) Help - Need help with a particular feature.  Click the "?" to view this help document.  This will be updated as new questions and problems arise.

6) Smilies - Express yourself with a vast selection of smilies.  Just click on the drop down menu and pick one that best suits your needs.  Next to each image, you'll see the text that you can type to have it appear without using the dropdown.  Just makes things a little easier when you're chatting ;)

7) Bold Font - Makes anything you type in the room "bold".  Can be turned on/off in the middle of a sentence.

8) Italic Font - Makes anything you type in the room "italicized".  Can be turned on/off in the middle of a sentence.

9) Message Box - This is where you type the message that you want to share with the room.

10) Send Button - To post the message that you typed, you can either press "Enter" on your keyboard, or click this button.
